At my artistic core I am an ensemble based story teller.
In more traditional terms, I am an actor, director, fight choreographer, arts administrator and advocate living in the glorious city of Chicago.
One thing which might help (and I am sure you are wondering) is:
"Alison...Dooorr...ah, what? How do you pronounce your last name?"
(Seriously - that is totally fine. Happens all the time.)

It can be a mouthful the first time for some...but once you know it you don't forget it!
